Congratulations to Amanda Wall, VITAC’s Director of Quality and Operations, on being named the winner of a 2023 Rise Award in the “Business Operations” category.

Winners were announced last night during the Rise Awards ceremony in London. The awards recognize and celebrate the talents, skills, and achievements of outstanding women working in the media technology and services sectors.

“I’m very honored,” said Amanda during her acceptance speech. “Thank you so much to my team. Really, they’re the ones who do the hard work…we depend on them day-in and day-out to get things done, get it to the client, and make them happy.

You can see more of Amanda’s speech (and the entire awards ceremony) below.

The “Business Operations Award” category recognizes individuals who ensure that content is delivered to the right place at the right time with the highest levels of quality. Nominees work in broadcasting, post-production, or service delivery and excel at making sure the workforce and clients are happy and the business is reaching its targets.

In announcing the award, the judges noted Amanda as a “passionate leader who has demonstrated vast improvements across business operations and is clearly committed to helping others.”

Rise received more than 400 nominations this year from across the global broadcast industry, citing the talents and achievements of inspirational women working in a variety of media and broadcast technology roles.
