Established in 2006, the Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) has been showcasing short and feature-length films on environmental topics for 17 years. With entries from filmmakers of all ages and from all over the globe, the festival is a celebration of the power of film to inspire, educate, and motivate audiences to protect and preserve the environment. When coordinators and volunteers wanted to make their film festival accessible to a wider audience with captions and audio description, they turned to VITAC.

VITAC’s top-notch customer service made coordinating captioning and audio description for a program featuring multiple films coming from multiple filmmakers a smooth process.

“The support was great, and I loved the turnaround time,” said Festival Director Nicole Bickford.

The increased accessibility for the 2023 event was well-received. “We heard from our audience that there was much appreciation that we were making a concerted effort to actually make these films available with captions and then promoting that,” said Bickford.
