The Major League Baseball (MLB) playoffs begin Oct. 1 as teams begin their run to the Fall Classic. And fans can follow all the action with VITAC captions whether watching from home, at the ballpark, or connecting with MLB’s Ballpark app.

VITAC once again will be providing live captions for MLB wildcard and playoff games on a variety of networks, making sure no one misses a strikeout, stolen base, or swing for the fence.

We also provide live, in-stadium captions on scoreboards, ribbon boards, and video screens for several MLB teams so that fans in the front row and the upper deck alike can follow along with all the action.

VITAC also provides captioning directly inside Major League Baseball’s Ballpark App, meaning that fans who want to view captions on their phones or mobile devices can do so with the touch of a button and no longer need to visit the stadium’s guest services for a special code or ask for any accommodations.

Streaming captions to MLB’s mobile app enables fans who rely on captions to follow the game whether they’re comfortably seated down the first base line or in the stadium concourse waiting to buy popcorn and cracker jack. The app also allows those without easy visibility to the in-stadium screens to see captions and follow along.

The app also features access such things as team schedules, scoring summaries, stadium maps, social media updates, special offers, and MLB-exclusive content.

And it’s easy to use, too. Simply download the free app, choose the team you want to watch, and hit the “Closed Caption” button. If your team is playing, you’ll see captions on the screen. Users also can adjust the size of the caption font to their liking.

So, as the MLB playoffs heat up, make sure you never miss a moment – from a game-winning home run to a game-changing call – with VITAC captions. Whether you’re cheering from the stands or watching from home, we’ve got every pitch, play, and pop fly covered. With captions at your fingertips, the road to the Fall Classic is more accessible than ever. Batter up!
