Schedule a time to meet our team
Meet with our experts at IBC 2024 and learn about our live AI-captioning solution, advances in live machine translation, new dubbing and audio description solutions, and other access services.
Our in-stand demos will showcase, among other offerings:
AI-powered Captioning with Captivate™
Our new, proprietary AI-powered solution, Captivate™, combines industry leading technology with decades of experience to provide high-accuracy captions at a fraction of the cost of traditional human-generated captions. Built in-house by transcription, speech, and machine learning experts, Captivate is trained using diverse language models enabling it to understand languages, accents, and speech patterns better than generic ASR engines. Our language experts prepare and train the system before, during, and after broadcasts and events to ensure consistently accurate results. We’ll be demonstrating the power of our captioning engine, showcasing live video for both US and UK customers, and offering visitors a chance to test the product.
Live Machine Translation for Multi-language Content
In today’s global M&E market, producers and content creators need to appeal to diverse audiences, including those who speak different languages. This is especially important for the upcoming European Accessibility Act, where multi-language captioning and subtitling for live events is required. We’ll demonstrate live captioning in six languages at IBC 2024, showcasing how our engine is uniquely poised to offer these services.
Localization and Audio Description Solutions
Content creators from reality TV to YouTubers and gamers are realizing that localization not only expands their audience, but also improves their bottom line. We’ll spotlight our full package of services for this market at this year’s show, including captioning, localization, audio description, and scripting.
Captivate and Connect
VITAC also will host an IBC mixer event on Friday, Sept. 13, on the RAI’s Beach at The Playground. The “Captivate and Connect Ice Breaker” aims to bring together senior representatives responsible for localization and accessibility requirements at broadcasting, streaming, and content companies for informal networking, cocktails, and canapes as the sun sets on Day 1 of IBC 2024. IBC visitors can register their interest in attending this invitation-only event by emailing marketing@vitac.com.
