The 2022 M-Enabling Summit will be held Oct. 24-26 in Washington, D.C.

The annual conference promotes accessible technologies and environments for persons with disabilities and older persons and showcases technological innovations that enable users to access digital content and services in new ways. It includes exhibits and demonstrations as well as speakers, breakouts, and panel discussions featuring leading executives and accessibility professionals from media, government, education, and advocacy organizations around the world.

VITAC’s Heather York, Vice President, Marketing and Government Affairs, will be among the panelists taking part in a discussion on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

“The Acceleration of Video and TV Accessibility Innovation across Digital Platforms” panel discussion will be held in the summit’s “Global Studio” (Studio E) from 2:45 to 3:45 PM ET. The session, hosted by Larry Goldberg, consultant and former Yahoo! In addition to Heather, the panel will feature Josh Miller, co-founder and co-CEO of 3Play Media, Sitara Nayudu, product lead, devices accessibility at Amazon, and Sonali Rai, broadcast and audio description manager at RNIB.
